Short version: we collect only what we need to ship your order, answer your messages and (if you ask) email you. We don't sell your information for money. Checkout happens on Shopify, which handles your payment details.

Who we are

Wingman Grooming Supply ("Wingman", "we", "us") runs this website and our online store. This policy covers this website. When you check out, you move to our Shopify store, which is also covered by our store privacy policy. If the two ever differ about checkout or orders, the store privacy policy controls for those.

What we collect

Information you give us

Contact form: your name, email, the topic, an optional order number and your message.
Barbershop application: shop name, your name, email, optional phone number, city, state, number of chairs, website or Instagram, and anything else you choose to tell us.
Newsletter sign-up: your email address and your consent to receive marketing email.
Orders: your name, shipping and billing address, email, phone and payment details. These are collected by Shopify at checkout, not by this website.

Information collected automatically

Your cart: what you add to your cart is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it is still there when you come back. It never leaves your device until you click Check out, and it is cleared after 14 days without use.
Server logs: our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running.
Live price and stock: your browser asks our Shopify store for the current price and availability of our products. Shopify may receive your IP address and browser details when it does.

This website does not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics. Our Shopify store may use cookies and similar technologies as described in the store privacy policy.

How we use it

To process, ship and support your orders.
To answer your messages and barbershop applications.
To send marketing email if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and spam, and fix problems.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

Shopify, for our store, checkout, payments, customer accounts and email sign-ups.
Netlify, which hosts this website and receives contact and barbershop form submissions.
Shipping carriers and fulfillment partners, to deliver your order.
Professional advisers and authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Our Shopify store may share data with marketing partners for targeted advertising, as described in the store privacy policy. You can opt out at any time on our data sharing opt-out page, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed for tax and accounting. We keep messages and applications as long as needed to deal with them and for a reasonable time afterward. We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Cart data in your browser is cleared after 14 days without use, or whenever you clear your browser storage.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. To make a request, email wingmangroomingsupply@gmail.com or call 716-420-5276. We will verify your request and answer within the time the law requires. You can use an authorized agent, and we will never treat you differently for using your rights. If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, and payments are handled by Shopify's secure checkout. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

International visitors

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed there. If you visit from another country, you understand that its data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
